Our Support Ministries

The Facilities Ministry Team is always looking for skills and talent that allow us to steward our building and grounds. We are always looking for those who can lend a hand on specific projects, or provide professional advice and counsel on a variety of areas needed to keep our grounds and buildings safe, enjoyable, and beautiful.

Assuring the highest standard of integrity, the Finance Ministry puts immense importance in all things related to the finances God has entrusted to our stewardship, as we understand that everything belongs to God.  How we execute that stewardship is a demonstration of our love and obedience to him.    

North Shore’s Hospitality Ministry provides a loving environment for people to come and enjoy fellowship with each other. Usually, there will be some food involved! We have 3 teams that make up our Hospitality Ministry.  Our Serving Circles are teams in charge of the Coffee Bar, Shore Lunch, and Communion. We also have a Special Events Team, in charge of planning and executing NSC’s special events, such as the Annual Church Picnic. Lastly, we have the Funeral Team, which works with the family of a loved one who has passed away, to provide a loving environment for them in which to grieve.

The Mercy Ministry Team extends the mercy of Jesus Christ to our church family, and to broken and needy people in our community.  We are the hands and feet of Jesus while we biblically address temporal, material needs in conjunction with eternal, spiritual needs.  Everything we do is done in the name of Jesus, to show His compassion and mercy, and to further His kingdom, for His glory.

At North Shore, we want our music to powerfully and accurately express the great truths of the Bible. Our music is selected on the basis of how closely it adheres to God-exalting theology, in addition to its musical strengths.   Our Music Team takes seriously their responsibility to lead people into the presence of God on Sunday mornings. They work diligently so that God might be “enthroned on the praises” of his people. [Psalm 22:3]

The Technology Ministry  supports a numerous technologies used to support all Ministries at North Shore. Our work involves designing, deploying, and operating our technical capabilities, from  Audio / Video / Lighting technology that supports our worship service experience, to the general IT needs of our building and office facilities. 

Here at North Shore, we understand that visiting a church can be a difficult thing to do. We want our church to be in sync with the call God has placed on our lives to welcome new people into our midst. Our goal is to make those who are visiting here feel as welcome and loved as possible. Although we trust our entire church is in the business of helping to make new  people feel welcome, our Assimilation Ministry Team leads the way, being very intentional about meeting the new people at North Shore, as well as arranging events to help them get to know us better.
